The Robot Combat Archive
Welcome to the robot combat archive! A site with the goal of centralising information about big-box robot combat globally with a ranking system thrown in for fun!
The site covers information from big TV events such as Robot Wars and BattleBots, to lesser known live events such as Extreme Robots and Robogames down to the obscure like Korea Robot Wars or Guerra de RobĂ´s.
Did you know that Chaos 2 has beaten Razer, or that Vlad the Impaler fought in Japan? Well with all the information in one place It's much easier to view a robot's whole history and find trivia like this. The archive is currently complete up to 2004.
The site covers events in a very light amount of detail, for more detail you can often check the excellent Robot Wars or BattleBots wikis.
The ranking and leaderboards are there to give a better indication of how a robot performed in its day, however it's important to remember that technology moves quickly so a higher ranked older robot is unlikely to beat a lower ranked newer one! In addition, the system is based on (a very modified) ELO which is not ideal for a sport where so few matches are played per competitor.
Finally, this site is maintained by 1 person. I've made sure to be as thorough as possible but some issues may remain. If you spot any glaring errors or omissions, I'm reachable on the OOTA or BB Wiki discord servers.
